ANDREW RAMAGE - Pastor
I first came to MCC Brighton in 2011 when I gave my Daughter a lift to a worship service and I became hooked. During that first service I met the lady that is now my wife. People describe me as an unconventional Christian, which I think suits me. I call myself a Christian because I follow the teachings and ideals of Jesus Christ but have my own beliefs and theology. I was elected as the settled Pastor of MCC Brighton on 1st January 2017 after 18 months as the congregational leader and am enjoying the challenges of this new role. I run a Chaplaincy for the homeless and based on that I have founded a charity to give a safe place for rough sleepers to stay over night. When I am not in church or volunteering in the community I can be found riding my motorbike or playing on my Xbox One.
KIM PAWLEY - Vice Chair
I am in my early thirties and have had some very tough times but God pulled me through. I have been a member of MCC for 12 years and it’s my spiritual home. I have recently started preaching and leading worship, which I find challenging but enjoyable. I am a care worker and my greatest passion in life is helping others. I enjoy crafts especially painting and drawing designs.
SUZY MILES - Board Member
I have been attending MCC Brighton since 2005. I am a Bible believing Transexual Christian and believe in using my gift of service for the benefit of the church. After many years of welcoming and serving refreshments at church I have recently become more involved in the worship services and was elected to the post of Lay Delegate in September 2015. I also share my gifts with the Good Shepherd Church in Shoreham. I have a particular love of music, High Heels and Television Evangelists.
SARAH-JANE RAMAGE - Preacher/Worship Leader
I joined the church in 2003. I recently retired from the board of MCC Brighton to concentrate on my work as part of the Governing Board of the denomination UFMCC. I am looking forward to enjoying worship over the next few months as I take a break from more active leadership. I love gardening, reading and spending time with my nieces.
Phil Davis - Lay Delegate
I have been part of MCC since the early 90s and it is my spiritual home. I feel called to serve and over the years I have usually been doing something, be it set-up, IT, sound, or anything else that is required for the smooth running of the service. I enjoy music too and I have occasionally been seen at the front in the music group! Away from church I enjoy making costumes for a local theatre group and trying to keep fit! I hope to get back on a motorbike soon. I enjoy watching films on my projector, especially Star Trek!!
