As part of our commitment to supporting our local community MCC Brighton is helping to run a number of projects with local organisations. But this is not all we do, MCC Brighton is involved in Pride, TransPride and other events in Brighton and Hove, as well as keeping aware of the needs of the community and helping address those needs where possible. If you have some spare time and are interested in doing something rewarding with it then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The Hub – A project that allows homeless people, or those in difficult circumstances to have a shower, get clean clothes, have breakfast, sandwhiches and a good lunch, as well as just hanging out and chatting in a safe environment. MCC Brighton provides a Chaplaincy service for the homeless and rough sleepers at The Hub
Brighton Community Night Shelter – BCNS is an organisation looking to set up and run an open access night shelter for rough sleepers in Brighton and Hove. The plan is to run a shelter that is open 365 nights a year. This is a great project and a lot of support is needed. MCC Brighton's Pastor Andrew Ramage is a co-founder and the current Chair of this charity.
Street Church - A recent project by MCC Brighton to take worship to the streets of Brighton and Hove so that no-one is excluded. Come and see us at the White Gazebo by the Old Steine, every wednesday at 4pm.
Community Office - MCC Brighton's Pastor Andrew Ramage offers Pastoral care, support and advice to the community at the Alcampo Lounge London Road, every Thursday from 2-6pm.
Sunday Service - MCC Brighton meets for worship at the Brighthelm Community Centre every Sunday. The service runs from 6-7pm and is followed by a time for socialising and refreshments. All are warmly welcomed.
